DUI and Traffic Violations
We represent both Virginia residents and out-of-state drivers charged with drunk driving, speeding or other traffic offenses alleged to have occurred in Central Virginia. In some instances, our firm can stand in for you in court if you were traveling through Virginia at the time of the citation and it is not convenient for you to return for a court appearance.

Criminal Defense
Campbell & Campbell, PC urges anyone questioned or charged in connection with a crime to contact a lawyer before making any statements. If you have been named as the executor or estate administrator for a family member's estate, our firm will assist in the administration process, including but not limited to the inventory and distribution of assets, notifying heirs, accountings, paying debts and all estate administration duties. He also represents family members in will contests and breach of fiduciary duty.

Wills and Simple Family Trusts
Campbell & Campbell, PC can draft simple individual and family wills, enabling survivors to carry out the wishes of a family member who dies. These can include trust provisions for minor children, and appointment of both a trustee to oversee trust assets and guardians raise their minor children. We can also assist in the preparation of an advance medical directive ("living will") expressing health care wishes. Without a will, state laws control the distribution of estate assets for those who die intestate (without a will), which in many instances conflicts with the expressed desires of the decedent.

No-Fault Divorce Settlements
We represent divorcing clients in no-fault divorces and when necessary with the equitable distribution of the marital assets. Our firm does not handle child custody, child support or other family law issues, but we will handle equitable distribution for couples who have children in cases where division of property is the only issue.

Real Estate Transactions and Litigation
Campbell & Campbell, PC represents sellers in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including actual conveyance, owner financing, and settlement. We also represent individuals who desire to gift real property to their children or other family members, often reserving life estates for the persons making the gift. (Sorry, we do not represent homebuyers in loan closings.)

We are experienced in real estate litigation, such as easement issues, adverse possession, and partition suits where multiple owners disagree on ownership issues and seek court action to force the sale, purchase or division of real property holdings.
